Guys. GUYS! This is from the end scene of Nightmare in Silver.
The writing is DEFINITELY aurebesh, from the Star Wars universe. And, for some weird reason, it says “AWESHEO”. My theory is that it was supposed to say awesome and someone screwed it up (and you can’t really read what comes after the “eo” letter).
Can anyone read what’s on the other side of the ship? The file I downloaded is too dark/blurry :(
I kind of flipped my shit over this as well. omg. So I was catching up and only just saw this and recognized the Aurebesh almost instantly! That last letter miiiight be an Mern (m) or a Osk (o) or possibly even a Xesh (x). Leaving it as Awesheom, Awesheoo, or Awesheox… but in short, I can’t really tell. Leaning towards the M and the messed up Awesome theory however.
And nope, can’t seem to get a clear shot of the other side of the ship. For the most part it feels like they just tossed letters on there. Then again I think the makers of DW are geek enough to use the lettering right if they are putting it there at all.
The geek in me really wants to find out why it’s there. I love Easter eggs like this. And it’s completely cute considering Warwick Davis played Wicket the ewok and several other small characters in Star Wars. This little find made my night and i am SO happy someone else saw it too :D
